2025 ARSSAR Youth Video Contest Winner

Luke Sharp was the 2025 DeSoto Trace Chapter & State SAR Youth Video Contest winner. He was presented with a certificate, medal, and check for $100 for his work on his video at the March 14, 2026 chapter meeting held at the Smokin in Style BBQ in Hot Springs, AR. “The Truth About Paul Revere’s Ride” video summarizes common myths believed about Paul Revere’s famous midnight ride on April 18th, 1775. Most of the things people remember are actually from Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s famous poem, written almost a century later. Video produced and edited by Luke Sharp.
