DAR Patriot Grave Marker Dedication (Canehill)

Regent Kristina Merriman recently extended an invitation to our membership to attend their upcoming American Revolutionary War Patriot Marker Dedication honoring Christopher Kirby (1760–1836). You are encouraged to attend if possible.
Below is her request for any compatriot to attend this exciting event.
“We would be deeply honored by the presence of your chapter as guests as we commemorate the service and legacy of Patriot Christopher Kirby. The participation of the Sons of the American Revolution would add meaningful distinction to this important day of remembrance and shared Revolutionary Patriot heritage.
Please note that descendants of Christopher Kirby are traveling from all over the United States to attend this event.
The dedication ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 11:00a.m. The location is the Historic Cane Hill Cemetery at 14389 State Hwy 45, Canehill, Arkansas 72717.
