Jordan Milam Chapter Oversees Milam Marker Dedication

Harrison, AR – A strong crowd turned out for the dedication of the Jordan Milam and Samuel Milum marker on the Boone County courthouse grounds at this semiquincentennial July 4th celebration.

Ceremonies were led by former SAR state and chapter president Troy Massey.

In addition to Massey, speakers included state representative elect Mike Bishop, Harrison Colony DAR Chapter regent Laurie Cowling, CAR president, Jordan Milam Chapter president Pat Flenniken as well as formal staments/proclamations from Boone County judge Mitchell Archer, Harrison mayor Jerry Jackson, and state SAR president Dr. Darrell Over. We were especially honored to have several direct descendants of Jordan Milam present including former state representative Jim Milum.
