Jordan Milam Chapter Participates in 250th July 4th Celebration

Harrison, AR – Jordan Milam Chapter SAR participates in the annual DAR “Let Freedom Ring” July 4th celebration on the grounds of the Boone County courthouse.

Chapter President Pat Flenniken and Chapter Genealogist/Historian/State Historian Troy Massey each gave addresses to those present.This year’s event was particularly memorable due to this being the nations semiquincentennial birthday, City of Harrison’s 150th birthday, and the dedication of the Jordan Milam/Samuel Milum marker.
