Patriot Banners Displayed in Harrison, AR

Harrison, AR – Jordan Milam Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution partnered with Harrison Colony Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in a special Patriot banner project on the Boone County, AR square.  Approximately 60 banners honoring our Revolutionary War patriot ancestors were prominently placed all around the Boone County square in Harrison, AR.  These banners include features recognizing the Jordan Milam Chapter SAR as well as our nation’s 250th anniversary and Harrison’s 150th anniversary.   Banners were placed on June 18, 2026 and will be displayed through the month of July.  This event was specifically spearheaded by Tonya Bardin, Chapter Historian and Chapter Chair of Community Classrooms Committee for Harrison Colony Chapter DAR in coordination with Troy Massey, Jordan Milam Chapter Genealogist/Historian and Harrison 150th committee member.
